Job Summary:

As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for testing the functionality of software applications to ensure they meet required standards before being deployed. This role involves designing test plans, executing test cases, and documenting the results to ensure any potential issues are addressed prior to product releases.


Key Responsibilities:

Test Case Development: Design and write test cases based on software requirements and documentation.

Test Execution: Perform thorough manual testing, including regression, integration, platform, and performance testing, to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client expectations.

API Testing: Conduct API testing to verify the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of software applications' APIs.

Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and report bugs and errors encountered during the testing phase. Work closely with the development team to ensure that issues are resolved.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all aspects of quality are met, including reliability, usability, and performance according to predefined criteria.

Database Queries (Basics): Utilize basic database queries to validate data integrity and accuracy as part of the testing process.

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the testing process, including logs and reports, to assist in the debugging process and improve future testing efforts.

Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to development teams and stakeholders regarding usability and functionality. Suggest improvements to enhance user experience.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including developers, product managers, and other testers, to ensure cohesiveness and the highest level of quality.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously update standard testing methods and tools to improve testing efficiency and accuracy
